Fresh herbs from your garden

Having fresh herbs available minimizes waste since there is no rush to use all of the herbs immediately. Growing fresh herbs at home is a fun, money-saving hobby that also happens to be good for your health.

Fresh herbs#1 – Common Nettle


Nettle is rich in proteins, carbohydrates, fats, calcium, phosphorus, iron, vitamins C, A, B2 and C, carotene. It’s a good remedy for gout.

Tea made from fresh herbs separates the mucus from the lungs, cleanses the stomach, liver, and intestines, and it is an excellent drug for the treatment of anemia, hemorrhoids, and jaundice. Mixed with other fresh herbs, heals ulcers in the stomach and intestines, cleanses the blood, improves digestion, reduces agitation and insomnia.

Fresh herbs#2 – Yarrow


It is particularly useful for the treatment of liver, helps with cramps, fever, palpitations. Yarrow also helps with pain in the bones and back pain, irregular menstruation, hemorrhoids, insomnia, rashes, and ulcers.

Fresh herbs#3 – Calendula


It is used to treat constipation, diseases of the stomach and intestines. From the fresh leaves and flowers, homemade lard and wax you can make marigold ointment, which is used very successfully in the treatment of wounds, swollen glands, scabs and rashes, arthritis.

For external use, it is good for infected wounds and cuts, helps in the treatment of psoriasis, burns, inflammation of the veins.

Fresh herbs#4 – Marjoram
