It must have happened to you sometimes, to have a feeling that your stomach looks like a pregnant woman, that you suffer from bloating, gas, and you do not know what the reason is.

The food that you consume can often be the cause of bloated stomach.
In this article, we give you a list of foods that can contribute to the “pumping” of your stomach, so you should consider avoiding or have a reduced intake of these products.

Dairy products

– Lactose intolerance can vary, but in any case, the most common symptom is the gas. Try a few days limitation of the amount of milk, cheese, yogurt and ice cream that you take and see if it helps with your bloated stomach problem. If it helps, you do not have to completely throw out dairy products but try a lactose-free milk.

Apples and pears

Each fruit contains up to 5 grams of fiber, so they are an excellent source of soluble fiber, but this might be a problem for those with a sensitive stomach.
Do not avoid them completely, just reduce your intake, and instead of an apple or a pear, eat half or a quarter.
This will give you plenty of useful substances from the fruit, and in turn, it will keep your stomach from discomfort.

Beans

Although it is very healthy, contains oligosaccharides, a type of sugar that is difficult to digest in the body.
When the sugar reaches the colon, the bacteria eat it which produce gasses. This can cause bloated stomach problem.
Eat small amounts of beans, try along with easily digestible grains, such as rice, for example.

Broccoli, cabbage, spinach

-Very nutritious vegetables, who are, unfortunately, on this list, and all because of raffinose. This is a type of sugar that is not digested until it reaches the large intestine, where it is fermented by bacteria which produces a nasty smell.
Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to decrease discomfort after consuming these products.
But try to avoid them periodically or reduce the intake of these foods.Your bloated stomach problem should be gone.

Fatty food

-Fat slows digestion, which is the reason for the longer fermentation of food.
It also increases the feeling of fullness.

Salty food

-Sodium does not cause gas but causes water retention in your body. Control how much salt you add to your food and see that you take no more than 2 to 3 grams of salt per day.

Gum and candy

-When chewing or eating these products, you can swallow more often than during the meal, which means you’ll probably swallow more air.
Also, those that contain artificial sweeteners can cause GI problems and bloated stomach.

Carbonated beverages

-Bubbly beverages, such as beer or soft drinks, release carbon dioxide in the body, which can lead to bloating.
